By analyzing years of data from hundreds of client websites, we know that a significant percentage of users will type in a particular search term, visit a client's website, and then go back to search and type in the business/practice name or the owner's name in hopes of finding out what others have to say.
Based on the above, you need to have at least a few online review-related listings/profiles with a stellar overall review rating of (4.0 or above) and fresh reviews coming in (at least a few each month). At least one or two of these review profiles need to appear in the search results for you/your business name. If not, then there is a high probability that the user will search for a competitor.
Think of it like this: simply ranking for keywords is not enough in todays online world. Online review sites play a crucial role in converting a user. Not forgetting that some of these online review sites can, over time, outrank the website for certain procedure/service-related keywords, thus acquiring its own traffic. This is why having multiple online review sites with a great overall rating and fresh reviews coming in is essential for growth.
To accomplish this, Ekwa has developed two in-house segments. These two segments are:
1. Acquiring Reviews (Text and Voice)
2. Showcasing You
In this segment, we are proud to introduce our in-house built GMR (Grow My Reviews) tool. How it works is simple. Your front desk has to simply send out invites (via email or text msg) to customers/patients who are seemingly satisfied with their appointment/booking.
The invitee is then presented with an option to leave a review on a predefined list of review sites (Except for Yelp*). They click on the platform of their choosing and then submit the review.
Why provide the invitee multiple review sites to choose from?
The tool is user-friendly and takes just 5 to 10 minutes to send out a request for a review, with the option of sending out a follow-up in case the user does not submit a review.
Grow My Testimonials is a sub-feature of Grow My Reviews that allows you to piggyback on the same flow to get audio testimonials. So, as mentioned above, a user receives an invite asking to leave a review on any of the selected review sites. In that same invite message, we also promote the fact that the invitee can call the same number the text message was sent from or call the number listed in the email. Then, all he/she has to do is follow the interactive voice prompts and record their experience at your office. We will then edit and convert the voice recording into an attention-grabbing video that can be posted on your website and social media pages.
GMR does not break any review gating rules (the act of filtering out negative reviews). The tool sends out any invite to an email ID or cell number that is entered into the system to, which is determined by you and your team. However, to "select" or "identify" possible satisfied patients/customers is critical and has to be done carefully.

Ekwa has built two unique Online Reputation sites. These are:
1. Doctors Choice Awards (for medical professionals)
2. Fans Choice
Doctors Choice Awards (DCA) is a platform created for doctors to review other doctors (a peer review site). Now, you may be wondering how a patient can find any relevance through DCA. Well, think about it like this: seeing a review from another medical professional going to you for medical treatment and praising you as a service provider gives a strong message to potential patients as to why they should pick you.
The Fans Choice (FC) platform is primarily designed to help practices and small business owners highlight the feedback and comments from your enthusiastic and loyal patients/customers. Your FC page can also be customized to highlight any promotions, announcements, etc. In other words think of it like Yelp but a customizable page created to highlight you and your loyal fans.
* Yelp forbids any business owner from asking for reviews. So any website or tool, or service that links to a Yelp page and directs users to submit a review (regardless if it's positive or negative), can result in the relevant Yelp page getting blocked or blacklisted.

I have worked with EKWA for approximately 10 years. Over this time, they have grown my business with their excellent service and dedication to improving my SEO, helping me with my reviews and optimizing my Google searches. Additionally, they have rebuilt my website from scratch, write blogs for me and countless other things that help for me to be ranked higher on every page of every procedure I perform. I cannot say enough good things about the EKWA team, they are loyal, they are honest and they are hard-working. Interestingly, they have even made my website accessible for the hearing and vision impaired. They are superb and I cannot recommend them strongly enough unless you are a doctor that competes with me and then I would not recommend them at all because I do not want anyone that competes with me to use their services!!

Extremely pleased with our progress! Thank you Ekwa team! We've been working really hard on our end to get patients to give us Google reviews. It seems all our efforts are paying off! I've seen an increase over the last year of new patients coming from online sources. It will be interesting to see how it continues to increase!-
